Movie Review- Taken

The movie I'm going to review is Taken with Liam Neeson. When I saw the movie I thought it was not only a real intense thriller because of some of the action scenes, but also has a real serious point to it with the human trafficking on the rise in Europe. There was some parts of it that I loved, and other parts where I felt like it was hard to believe so I felt like i could give it a good review.

Ad Analysis - Marines

I choose to do my ad on one of the Marine commercials. I am for the marines and not at all Anti- War but I feel like sometimes these commercials are misleading because specifically the one I choose it targets young adults showing them they can get a  free education, not the other side of what becoming a marine really is.

Family

I will be doing my essay on family. Family is everything to me, and we are all so close. I come from a small family but we are now a large blended family.

I Want a Wife

After reading I Want a Wife by Judy Brady I felt like it was very repetitive. It was sexist because it was written in the 70's and since then women's roles have changed. It doesn't have to be a wife to run a family it can be anyone. I couldn't really relate to the role of the wife, not being married and not having children. But i see how women play a high role in the household.

Project Topic # 1

For the project I think I will be doing my knee injury that led to continuous knee surgeries. Going through so many surgeries I fell in love with the physical therapy profession. My injury has taught me resilience, and how to be positive about poor situations. Now looking back I call it the Blessing In Disguise.
